You can export everything in a mod file to a single Excel workbook, edit it, and import it back. The export uses the same format as the Mod Advisor Excel template.
Export the file
Open the mod file and go to the Payroll or Claims page.
Select Export.
Open the downloaded Excel file.
The export always includes the whole mod file, whichever page you export from.
What's in the workbook
Policy: the policy setup information for each policy period.
Payroll: every payroll row.
Claims: every claim.
Common uses
Fill in missing claim details in Excel, then re-import the file.
Move data from a duplicate account into the correct one (see Merging Duplicate Accounts).
Share raw data with a colleague or client.
Re-importing
Drag the edited workbook into the Mod Advisor XLS Template box. Keep the tab names (Policy, Payroll, Claims) and column headers as exported so everything maps automatically. See How to Complete and Import the Mod Advisor Excel Template for required fields.
