Know Your Mod Three Years Early
The experience mod you'll be rated on in 2028 is being decided by the claims sitting on your loss run right now. Mod Watch Pro ingests your worksheet, analyzes your loss runs every quarter, and gives you a live dashboard that shows exactly where your mod is heading, while you can still change it. We do the work. You just log in.
By the Time You See Your Mod, It's Too Late to Change It
Experience rating runs on a three-year window that ends roughly a year before your policy starts. That means the number on your renewal was locked in by claims that were open, and fixable, eighteen months ago.
Most businesses find out their mod went up when the renewal arrives. At that point the reserves are set, the claims are closed, and the only lever left is paying more. Mod Watch Pro moves the conversation eighteen months earlier, to the window where reserves can still be challenged, claims can still be closed, and return-to-work still changes the outcome.
- ✓ See future rating years now, not after the bureau publishes them.
- ✓ Catch reserve inflation early, while there's still time to push back.
- ✓ Know before you bid whether you'll still be under 1.0 next year.
- ✓ Budget with confidence: your comp premium stops being a surprise line item.
Illustrative forecast. “fc” = projected rating year. The 2028 improvement reflects a modeled scenario in which the flagged reserves are resolved.
Done For You. Every Quarter. Every Year.
This isn't software you have to learn. It's a service with a dashboard attached: we run the analysis, you get the answers.
Worksheet & Loss Run Ingestion
Send your experience mod worksheet and loss runs in whatever form your carrier provides: PDF, Excel, or a scan. We extract every claim, payroll figure, and class code. No data entry on your side, ever.
Quarterly Loss Run Analysis
Four times a year we re-read your loss data, measure what moved, and tell you why. Reserve increases, new claims, closures, development trends, each one traced to its effect on your mod.
Multi-Year Mod Forecasting
Projected experience mods for upcoming rating years, updated as your data changes, with and without open claim reserves, so you can see both the likely and the best case.
Your Own Live Dashboard
A secure account at app.modadvisor.com with your mod trend, forecast bands, claim detail, and frequency and severity charts. Log in whenever you want the current picture, not just when a report lands.
Scenario Modeling
What happens if that reserve drops by half? If two claims close? If payroll grows 20%? Model it and watch the forecast respond instantly, before you commit to a plan.
AI Insights & Alerts
Our AI reads your claims continuously and surfaces what matters: reserve-driven mod inflation, claims worth challenging, classification issues, and return-to-work gaps, each with the dollars attached.
Annual Rate Advisor Refresh
Once a year we re-price your risk against the entire carrier market and re-rank it, so you always know whether your current program is still competitive before you renew.
Invite Your Team & Your Broker
Add your CFO, your safety director, or your agent as users at no extra cost. Everyone works from the same live numbers instead of forwarding spreadsheets.
Quarterly Written Summary
A plain-English PDF each quarter you can hand to a GC, a lender, a board, or a bonding company: documented proof you're actively managing your mod.
You Send Documents. We Do Everything Else.
Setup takes about ten minutes of your time. After that, the only recurring ask is a quarterly loss run, and most clients automate even that.
- Subscribe & Send
Start your $99/month subscription, then upload your experience mod worksheet and your most recent loss run. Prior years help; send whatever you have.
- We Build Your Baseline
Within two business days we've extracted your data, validated your class codes and payroll, produced your executive summary, and opened your account.
- You Log In Any Time
Your dashboard goes live at app.modadvisor.com: mod trend, forecasts, claim-level detail, scenario modeling, and AI insights, available on demand.
- Every Quarter, We Refresh
Send the new loss run (or have your carrier send it directly). We re-run the analysis, update the forecast, and deliver a written summary of what changed and why.
Set It Up Once, Then Forget It
Most carriers and TPAs can email loss runs on a recurring schedule. Point that schedule at your Mod Watch Pro intake address and the quarterly refresh happens without you touching anything; the analysis just shows up.
- ✓ No spreadsheets to maintain
- ✓ No software to learn
- ✓ No annual contract
When the Mod Crosses 1.0, the Bidding Stops
For contractors and subcontractors, the experience mod isn't an insurance detail; it's a prequalification gate. General contractors and project owners routinely require a mod below 1.0 to bid. One bad claim year can lock you out of work for three.
Protect Your Bid Eligibility
Mod Watch Pro tells you the quarter your forecast starts trending toward 1.0, long before promulgation, so you can act while the outcome is still yours to control.
Answer the Prequal Question
When a GC or bonding company asks about your mod, hand them a current, documented forecast instead of a stale worksheet and a promise.
Every Mod-Sensitive Industry
Trucking, manufacturing, staffing, agriculture, healthcare, food processing: anywhere payroll is large and claims are routine, a tenth of a point is real money.

Before You Subscribe
What do I actually have to do each quarter?
Send us your loss run. That's the entire recurring ask. We handle extraction, analysis, forecasting, and the written summary. If your carrier or TPA can email loss runs on a schedule, point them at your intake address and you won't have to do even that.
How far out can you forecast my mod?
Experience rating uses a three-year window that lags your current policy period, so we can typically project two to three future rating years. The near years are highly reliable; much of that data is already fixed. Later years move as claims develop, which is precisely why we re-forecast every quarter instead of once.
How is this different from the Mod Watch my broker uses?
Same engine, different setup. Mod Watch is the collaborative workspace brokers open for their clients. Mod Watch Pro is for businesses who want it directly and want the analysis done for them: you subscribe, we run it, and you can invite your broker in if you'd like.
Do I need to leave my current agent or carrier?
No. We don't sell insurance and we take no commission on your placement. Plenty of clients invite their existing broker into the account; the shared forecast usually makes that relationship more productive, not less.
What if I don't have my worksheet or loss runs yet?
Subscribe anyway and we'll walk you through requesting them. Your agent, your carrier, or your rating bureau can each produce them, and we'll tell you exactly what to ask for. Your account opens as soon as the documents arrive.
Can I cancel?
Yes, any time, from your billing page. Month to month, no contract, no setup fee, no cancellation fee. You keep every report already delivered.
Is my claims data secure?
Yes. Mod Advisor is SOC 2 compliant, your data is encrypted in transit and at rest, and your account is scoped to your organization only. See our Security & Trust Center and Privacy Policy.
Watch the Number Your Business Runs On
Ninety-nine dollars a month puts your experience mod on a forecast instead of a surprise, and puts the years ahead back within your control.
